The Murphy Charitable Foundation Uganda is thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of the Pen Pal Magic app! With the launch just around the corner, we are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to unveil this innovative new tool that will take our pen pal project to new heights in the new year.
For the past few years, our pen pal project has brought together children from across the region, creating connections, restoring lost hope, and fostering cross-cultural exchange. Some children have even benefited from sponsorship support from their respective friends. As our project continued to grow, however, we began to face logistical challenges, particularly when it came to printing and delivering letters to children in their respective communities.
That’s why we’re so excited about the Pen Pal Magic app. Thanks to our dedicated team of software engineers, this app promises to transform the way international friends communicate with our local pen pals. The app will make sending and receiving letters, pictures, and other communications faster, easier and more accurate than before.
Additionally, we’re delighted to announce that the Pen Pal Magic app will help us save costs on printing and transportation expenses. This, in turn, means that we can allocate more resources to other important parts of our program and enhance our impact on the communities we serve.
The Pen Pal Magic app is packed with exciting features, including sending and receiving messages or letters, audio and video messages, the ability to conference, and even a donate button. The app also has a capacity to store the information of children and their friends for up to 25 years and can accommodate up to 1 million children within the app.
Our team is committed to the success of this app and is optimistic that it will help us achieve our goal of connecting children across borders and building stronger, more sustainable relationships between them.
We anticipate that the Pen Pal Magic app will be launched in the next couple of months, and our projected date is early March this year. Keep an eye out for updates and announcements as we get closer to that date. We’re excited to witness the impact that this app will bring to our program and the greater community.
